Ace Frehley Review From Minneapolis, MN @ First Avenue

Wow what a fun night! I’ve never seen Ace solo before, just with Kiss on reunion shows. It was great to see him up close!
I loved hearing Parasite, Snowblind, Rock Soldiers, Breakout, Rocket Ride. Deuce and Love Gun just exploded in the encores. Ace isn’t a strong enough singer to really carry the whole show, but the other guys handled their songs well that they sang.
Was a little surprised to not hear Into the Night; that and Rock Soldiers are really the only Frehley’s Comet songs that got much radio/ MTV play that I can recall. But I know that was a little more of a “pop” song and I don’t think Ace wrote it either, so that’s understandable.
I was pretty surprised to see only one or two fans in the Ace Kiss makeup. I thought that there would be more.
The band is good. I didn’t know much of anything about them, and they appear to be about half of Ace’s age, but they were very solid.
The show was REALLY loud; I can’t hear much today, but in a good way of course!

I am a huge Ace fan and finally had the chance to see him perform! He did not let me down!!!! The audience was going crazy - crowd surfing and everything! It was an amazing experience. I attached some pics from during show and one of him in his bus after the show! I plan on traveling to see him again.

Please find attached some photos I took at the Sheffield show in the UK last night (10th April 08).
It was a fantastic show and chance to see Ace perform in a small club. I was lucky enough to get one of Ace's picks that he threw out during the show!
I have been a Kiss and Ace fan for over 30 years and good to see him back. Can't wait to hear the forthcoming album! Can't wait for London tonight.
