KISS Rock the Nation Live! DVD

Postby Mindfreak » Tue Dec 27, 2005 10:06 pm

Before anyone starts hissing at me, I got this for Christmas from someone who thought I would like it and did not know how I felt about Gene, Paul and the scabs.

Well, since I got it, I thought "What the hell? Let me see what all the hoohah is about?"

Technically, the DVD was one of the best DVDs KISS has put out. That's where it ends. For the remainder of the DVD, I watched a very tired and worn out Gene and Paul trying to recapture the once glorious days of the REAL KISS. It was so bad that I have to say that Scabby Doo and Fake Ace actually looked good. They carried Geno and Paul throught the whole concert. Gene's fire breathing and blood spitting was waaaaaay sub par to what we are used to seeing. Paul looked like a 50 plus year old man trying to be (cough, gag) sexy. They really looked like they were struggling with their boots. Their singing was atrocious. Gene even screwed up the lyrics to "War Machine".

I thought I was watching an old timers reunion show on PBS. It was that bad, folks.

If you secretly have to have this to complete your collection, buy it when it goes to the $4.99 bargin bin at your local retail store. Just don't tell anyone you bought it.

This year, I'm going to join our American cousins and celebrate Thanksgiving the old fashioned way. By which I mean I'm going to invite all my neighbours round for an enormous feast, kill them all and then take their land.

....and I thought getting a scab t-shirt was a bad thing.

That's right. That's etched in stone. And to make sure, always buy at a place that offers refunds or a gift card for open DVDs or CDs.

Now you see Eric? You had to mess it up for yourself. I was trying to make you look like a man in the whole horrible incident. Buuuut if you want to be known still as the "girly boi" of the event, hey! who am I to differ?

:rolleyes4 It was just oral, and I only did it once. Anything else, and it's Peter... I would have thought you of all people could tell the difference between me and old man Criss.

I'm just going to go and hurt myself now; thanks a lot for making me think of it again. :angry

Eric, speaking of oral, I noticed in Rock the Nation Live!, you have a tendancy to shape your mouth in an "o". You should really stop doing that. You look like an oral bulls eye for Paul.

I think they did an incredible job of it...State of the art...I like just being able to watch just Gene or Paul or and Impostor...Very cool to be able to do..Only to a handful of songs though.

The Documentatry Stuff : Tommys Quiet Well of course he is he is an imposture..Eric is the clown ...I like Eric Singer with Kiss or Alice Cooper 2 of my favorite bands..

I say just check it out by borrowing it..The Show is very cool ..Beware impostures...and the whole Independence / USA / Being American part at the end with God Gave Rock N Roll To Ya is great.

Form your own opinion..Rock Soldier Rob
