Whatcha readin?

Postby Guest » Sun Jan 18, 2009 7:01 am

Anybody reading anything interesting right now (porn doesn't count, sorry).

My favorite things to read and watch performed are the Greek Tragedies.  Just re-read a bunch of those.  If anyone hasn't had the chance, I recommend Medea by Euripedes - especially in performance.

Also, FINALLY read Great Expectations (I think most people read it in school) by Charles Dickens.  EXCELLENT ONE!

Now, I'm onto The Iliad (another one most peeps read in school - we always had to read really weird shit) by Homer.  So far, so good.

Your turn!

What did you think of it, Acefan?

I'm in the middle of Vanity Fair right now.  That sucker takes a longer time to read than most novels, for some reason.  Can't figure out why, though.

Gosh, nothing good at the moment.  I really need to get to the bookstore and stock up on some books. Of course, I need more books like I need another hole in the head.   I've been meaning to read The Bell Jar for some time, so I know I'll pick that up...I also want something fun to read, and maybe a book about The Beatles...Maybe a poetry book, who knows... :chin
